Be with me, as I rise.
As I rise above the ocean, as I find my shore.
Be with me, as I dance.
As I dance with my every being.
And when I fall, please still be with me.
Caress my face like you did that night you said goodbye.
I need you to see me, in the shape of light. I want you it to catch your breath.
I want you to hold my hand as I close my eyes.
I want you to grab me and put me in your arms even if I say I don’t want to. Because you know that’s where I really want to be…
I feel like their is nothing left that has left untouched.
Like theirs no more sacredness inside of me.
The light has just seeped out of me.
I have been served this storm, that I don’t want to be a part of.
I don’t want this lesson.
I could taste your yearning as I felt you surrender.
My heart growing bigger, as I let you inside it.
I held onto your skin, caressing its softness with my fingers.
We kissed even when we weren’t kissing. Our breathless breathes were transcended into one.
My heart recognised yours.
I could see home in your eyes.
It knew your rythmn, the dance of your soul.
This is how I embrace my fear. I trust my feelings, those soft nudges, becoming harder. It awakens me up.
I trust that we are all aligned with the stars, because we are.
I venture out and I realise that this world loves me.
Life takes no hostages, only surrenderd souls.
Life is much deeper than this. Not everything that is happening can be seen.
Life is mysterious and raw and kind and sometimes so cruel.
Their’s no game plan, only the one that you have with your heart.
It’s all about feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
All we have is right here, right now. Everything else are just fragments, puzzles, pieces you relentlessly try to put together.
